There are BS, DIN , ASME, JIS,GB standard valve. Different usage condition and quality requirements are considered before choosing. Some low pressure water related usage and with low safe requirements may use not standard weight cast iron gate valves, like irrigation systems, this way, you can save much cost in the budget.
